Loom Videos

I haven't been actively writing for a few months, but I have been sharing my ideas through a different medium. This new favorite tool is what inspired today's post.

The tool is called Loom, and I use it daily to create videos to share internally with my teams and externally with clients, partners, etc. With Loom, I am able to walk team members through our Standard Operating Procedures or illustrate an issue I am having with one of our technological platforms.

Our Menlo Process™ includes many tools and resources that we create and send to clients to assist in the real estate process. I often will create a Loom video to accompany these tools. These videos enable clients to review information such as lease comments or financial calculations asynchronously. Loom videos also may eliminate the need for a meeting or call. If we do schedule a meeting, the conversation is more productive because we are already on the same page.

In the spirit of showing a tangible example, here is a Loom video I created to walk our leadership team through holding a clarity break (a topic I've written about previously).

I am always looking for tools to streamline our processes and add value to clients, and I will continue to share these resources here in case they are helpful to you.
