Coaches Who Inspire

Recently, I attended my quarterly workshop for Strategic Coach with Lee Brower. I have been attending Strategic Coach meetings for five years. After our recent session, I've reflected on the impact of coaches, coaching platforms and programs on my personal life and career.

As an avid reader, I consume a lot of information and concepts, and in the early days of my career, I would try to change too many things at once. I also would shoot out ideas to the team that should have been expressed as merely ideas instead of the “new way” of doing things. Strategic Coach and the other programs I will discuss below have provided me the tools and process to work through ideas and have dramatically increased my ability to execute. Because I am fanatical about continual growth and improvement, I am always looking for a "better way" and find that coaching can provide a lot of assistance here.

Massimo Group

About six or seven years ago, I first joined the Massimo Group and worked directly with Rod Santomassimo. I still refer back to many of those interactions and consider Rod a dear friend and great mentor. Rod is a thought leader in commercial real estate and constantly challenges the status quo, which is what I love about him. This program is fantastic for those both in and outside the commercial real estate space. It's the purest form of one-on-one coaching and accountability that I have been a part of.

Blaine Strickland

Through the Massimo Group, I was introduced to Blaine Strickland. There aren't words to describe Blaine and the way he inspires. He has helped me hire key people, start a new business and avoid financial disaster. Blaine is an amazing strategic thinker and lifelong learner.

Strategic Coach

In the beginning of this post, I mentioned Strategic Coach, which is what I call an entrepreneurial group. The group meets once a quarter and provides tools and concepts to help you grow your business. For me, Strategic Coach has helped me just as much in my personal life as it has in my business. I always leave meetings more committed to my marriage, kids and goals to provide a better future for myself and those around me.

EOS

EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) isn't necessarily a coaching program, but I consider it to be. Essentially, the entire business is coached because the program involves a company's leadership team. Two years ago, we hired Michael Erath as our implementer, and he has been incredible. It's hard to imagine what our meetings were like before we implemented the L10 format. We have embraced the common language EOS provides and feel it has been an amazing structure and platform for our company to operate from.
