90 Day Review

As I go into quarterly meetings with each of the companies I play an active role in, I tend to ask myself a version of the same questions. Something like this:

  1. What’s broken, not clicking or not working right?

  2. What people concerns do you have?

  3. What process concerns or inefficiencies have you identified?

  4. What client concerns do you have?

  5. What client opportunities will you pursue next quarter? What is your plan?

  6. What assignments, contracts or listings are at risk?

  7. Overall, is there anything that you think will limit growth in 2024 or beyond?

  8. What else comes to mind that you want to process together next week?

I invite you to complete this exercise in preparation for your quarterly meetings. If you have a V/TO, review your 1-year goals and 90-day rocks. Are they done or not done? What’s off track that needs to get back on track? What are your next quarter goals, 90-day rocks or dramatic changes that need to be made?

In addition, reflect on the past 90 days and consider the following areas of your life: personal goals, professional achievements, relationships, health and personal growth. For each area of your life, answer these questions:

  1. What were your main accomplishments?

  2. What challenges did you face, and how did you overcome them?

  3. What did you learn about yourself?

  4. How did you improve or grow in this area?

  5. What are some memorable moments or milestones?

  6. Are there any goals you set that you didn't achieve? Why?

  7. How did you manage your time and priorities?

  8. What habits or routines did you develop or change?

  9. What feedback did you receive from others, and how did it impact you?

  10. What are your goals and plans for the next 90 days?

Use these reflections to identify patterns, celebrate your successes, and plan for continuous improvement in the next quarter. Here’s to a successful new quarter!
